This is because Turkey’s prominent doctors have proved themselves by providing the leading successful rate at a global affordable price. However, you should keep in mind that Turkey is popular for Hair Transplantation means there are too many clinics and doctors already trying to attract patients while not being qualified and safe. This is why research is key.
There are many factors and triggering elements involved in the causes of hair loss. Hair loss, as one of the most frequent issues of our time, may happen due to genetic predisposition, chronic diseases, unhealthy diet, excess hairstyling and many other triggering factors. We can examine hair loss cases in two categories: male pattern hair loss and female pattern hair loss.
Androgenetic alopecia, known as male pattern hair loss, may appear during early twenties especially at the top and front strip of the head within a few years, resulting in hair loss. The causes of male pattern baldness are related to genetic infrastructure.
Whereas, the female pattern hair loss is a common condition that can be seen 1 in every 10 women around the world. A hair loss type that is characterized by thin, weak hair and especially distinct loss in the hair separation line could be treated with modern and effective results through Hair Transplantation.
First, the underlying triggering factor for hair loss should be examined and determined. Following, a reasonable treatment should be considered. Then the most suitable hair transplantation can be evaluated. If hormonal diseases or deficiency of vitamins, minerals or any other substance is found, the best option is to try to treat hair loss with nonsurgical treatment.
Determination of healthy hair follicles eligible for transfer is one of the most important topics of Hair Transplantation procedure. Accordingly, the donor site- the area from which the hair follicles will be collected from, must be determined during the examination. The hair follicles that are available for transfer are removed from the nape region. If this area does not yield the desired amount, the beard, chin area and finally the back, shoulder, leg or chest area are looked at. Determining the donor site is one of the critical steps for an effective planning of the process.
First, to determine whether there is a sufficient amount of healthy hair, we check out the patient’ nape area. If there are not enough hair follicles for extraction in the back of the head, then the area to get support from is the beard. It is the area where the most high-quality results are received in terms of donor site.
The donor area in the chest is an alternative to be considered, however since each type of hair is different, a prior test transplantation should be performed. The last option to be checked are the donor sites of the back and leg areas. Just like in the chest, in these areas too, the hair follicles are structured differently than the ones on the head. Therefore, the most eligible and available follicles would be collected considering the patient’s approval and comfort.
FUE hair transplantation began taking its shape in the mid-nineties with techniques that are practiced worldwide to this day. Hair transplantations conducted with the FUT method during the nineties, have been taken over by the FUE method which was developed in the early 2000s and introduced in 2005.
Even though the technique is continuously developing with further improvements, the basic principles of FUE remain the same.
Today, the FUE technique continues to be regarded as the most advanced technique of hair transplantation surgery.
Thanks to the lastest modern technique of FUE, individuals experiencing hair loss can get natural looking hair.
1. Consultation: This is the step where the doctor develops the patient’s operation plan and creates the hairline design.
2. Preparation: This step includes the processes of sterilizing the operation site and the application of local anesthetics.
3. Extraction: The process of extracting hair grafts from the donor area of the patient.
4. Recipient Site Creation: This is the action of creating recipient sites by following the direction of the existing terminal hairs.
5. Transplantation: This is the action of placing the grafts in recipient sites at right angles to hair direction.
6. Postoperative Processes: This step includes the processes of wound-cleaning for the transplanted site and PRP Therapy sessions to speed up the healing process of the operation.
7. Postoperative Care & Hair Wash: This is the washing procedure that should be applied for 15 days. Both the donor and the transplanted area are sensitive during this period, so it is critical to follow out the washing process with particular care.
Some define it as the newest method in hair transplantation, others claim that it is just a marketing trick, while someone else describes the technique as “FUE with implanters”.
Either way, our aim for this study is to remain objective and understand briefly and clearly how the procedure actually works.
Opposite of the FUE method, during the DHI implantation method, site creation and graft implantation are performed at the same time, i.e. extraction and implantation are combined as part of a one or two step process, embedding the extracted hair follicles directly into the receipt areas without the need of creating channel incisions in the donor area via utilizing an implanter (choi) pen that features a hollow needle connected to a tub and plunger device. This is why the DHI procedure is also referred to as the Choi method.
